Solar Thermal Collectors from Sunsystem are Solar Keymarked Heat Pipe evacuated tube collectors with excellent insulation performance from the vacuum.
Maximum capture of solar radiation makes the evacuated tube collectors a cost-effective solution for any solar installation.
Evacuated tube solar collectors incorporating Heat Pipe technology are characterised by their high efficiency, improved heat absorption capability, low heat losses and consistent performances in cold climate conditions.
The Temperature sensor can be mounted on the left or righthand side of the manifold, depending on the position of the heat-carrier outlet. The Heat Pipe itself is a compound of two concentric glass tubes with an evacuated space between them. The inner tube surface is covered with a selective coating allowing maximum absorption of sunlight and high performance efficiency. Through the center of the heat pipe runs a hollow copper tube, which begins the process of transferring the heat to the tube top and then releases it to the collector pipe, which in turn heats up the heat-carrier fluid as it passes inside. This process repeats over and over again.
The collectors come with mounting brackets and heat transfer paste.
